Daniel Hyun

Pastor

Village Church Baltimore

I will be speaking on:

Supporting and Ministering to Those with Mental Health Issues

Looking Beneath the Surface

In this session, Pastor Hyun explores the impact of trauma and the healing that can occur when we go deeper into our own stories and the stories of others, beyond the surface level. He encourages leaders to actively cultivate transparency, empathy, and self-awareness, so that we can better understand and interpret our own and others' emotions. One solution? Ministry leaders can get equipped with trauma-related care tools and support, enabling us to bring people to wholeness.
